White-lipped Tree Frog |
We are still in the thrall of the pandemic but, apart from no big events, we are able to travel within the state of Queensland. Twice weekly Tai Chi classes are keeping me sane. On Tuesday, the class is at Port Douglas and on Thursday, the class is at Diwan. The classes couldn’t be more different. There are around thirty people in the Port class but only about a dozen in Diwan.
We are on the edge of the Coral Sea in Port so we overlook the expanse of water and watch the cruise boats heading out to Low Isles or the Outer Great Barrier Reef for diving and snorkelling tours. Waves provide the sound track.
We are in the rainforest at Diwan so there are many butterflies, and the birdsong is glorious. All of the rainforest people know each other so there is much chatter.
